Michele, you obviously do not post enough photos of Cobalt. Glad to see a new one, haven't seen those red borders until now.
I too just last week, installed a new automatic misting system. I also am in the process of replacing my light brands/types, as its getting too cold here in the north. It's been snowing on and off, and I too have the same problem with the humidity. Before I had the misting system, I was getting about 29% Humidity!!! It was at the point were when I had a shower, ten minutes later my skin would turn white, dry up, and crack. My chameleons eyes began to glaze over, but I assure you, you will absolutely love automatic misting systems if you ever buy one, especially if you have a 'screend bottom enclosure'. I will however be buying a cold air humidifer since I always burn out the hot water ones.
Can you describe what the vet did with the chameleons? I was thinking of taking mine in for a check up next paycheck. How cold is it out in michigan at the time you saw the vet, and did you worry about heating? My vets office is about 100 yards from my house actually... so I would probablywalk over, since cars are frozen inside for about 20 minutes. Maybe I would start up the car first actually... ----- CANADIAN CHAMELEONS
