and that is for new founding stock for animals which previously did not exist in captivity. Such is the case with the VERY few Panamanain imperator brought in this year (Panama is strict about exportation).

There are also new morphs born in farms (gravid females are collected and kept until they give birth and the babies sold).

The part I do not like is the huge numbers of Colombian and Nicaraguan imperator that enter the U.S. through importation. These are readily available from premium established bloodlines.

Oh well, enough of the rant.
