Posted by: ChrisGilbert at Thu Dec 8 08:47:36 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by ChrisGilbert ] That the few boas that have been brought in recently with CITES permits were captive bred in the country of origin. I have Western Costa Rican BCI, Costa Rica has only allowed one permitted serpentarium to export (this is the same source as the Sabogae). The Iquitos Peruvians that were just imported were CBB in Peru, and I am pretty sure the Panamanians were captive bred as well. I don't think Panama allows collection of wild animals.
