Posted by: cbreps at Tue Dec 13 08:34:04 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by cbreps ] the speckled male at least. people see some nice clean hogs on a website or two and decide they look a certain way than are shocked to learn that they dont look like that in the wild. try looking up the OPWALL project (google it), and look at the girl holding a large boa caught on the island, also take a peek at the field guide: Amphibians & Reptiles of the Bay Islands and Cayos Cochinos,Honduras by McCranie, Wilson, Kohler that Gus informed me about a couple months back (thanks gus, great book!). theres a few pics in there of wild boas that mother nature produced. for instance compare this animal to the one pictured on page 131, i bet if i posted this pic and asked for an opinion someone would of said it didnt look like a true hog when in fact........ | ||
