Matt,
That is one beautiful Nic. I have a ? though....and I don't want to offend you....and maybe it's just the way the pic is coming through on my pc....but doesn't hypo mean the reduction of black? I see that your Nic has tons of red but there is a lot of black in the tail as well and by definition, hypomelanism is not increased red pigment. The reason I ask this is b/c I have over a dozen Nics and some of them have zero black around their tail saddles...does this mean they're hypo? I don't know? maybe? I'll breed to find out for sure...but till then I label them as possible hypos. Also, every once in a while, someone posts a hypo nic for sale in the classifieds but I can't help thinking it's nothing more than a normal. Is there some tell-tale sign that I am missing? Once again, I hope not to offend you...it is a beautiful snake.
Sincerely,
Jason
