You could also get small chickens and feed have better results. I think with chicken legs you are risking getting the animals some salmonella. I do not know about anyone else but I would not like to get animals that had more risk of Salmonella.

I talk to a buddy that happends to be a Vet. and the same thing that is happening with red ear slidrs turtles, may happend to animal fed chicken parts. Just my opinion.
