Salmonella Risk?

In an effort to get a few of my animals that refused to eat f/t anything I bought a few bags of frozen chicks from rodent Pro. These didn't stimulate feeding in the few live feeders I have either so I've been feeding them to my Colombians that will eat anything. If there is salmonella bacteria present in poultry products then wouldn't it be in these chicks too? I haven't noticed anything wrong or different after feeding them to my snakes.
