they are not taking a chance if the animals they intend to buy are of the same strain. the only two known strains right now are khal and sharp. these two strains are not compatable (the strains bred to one another will not produce albinos). an inteligent person attempting to produce albinos, would be sure that the het they are buying is het for the strain of albino they currently have.
in reference to possible hets then yes they would be taking a chance. but they still should have bought a possible het for the strain that they currently have so that would not be the chance they are taking.
