I had a feeling someone would try to get "technical", but I figured I'd just make it easy...my mistake! Okay, you do NOT have to breed the same strain together if you want to simply produce babies. BUT...IF your wanting to produce albinos in THAT breeding(which I would assume he meant), then YES, they better be the same strain or your just going to end up with a mess. That is what I assume the nature of the question was originally. Take care
