Posted by: McCarthyBoas at Mon Dec 12 21:34:33 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by McCarthyBoas ] I had this happen last year with my big BCI female named Xena. The bad new is me and my family where out of town for the week when this happened and when I came home my male striped het for albino was dead in her cage. I believe she killed him the day after we left. Boy did my house stink when I can home. I could smell the stench even before I opened the front door. She did not eat him but it looked like she bite his head and constricted him. Xena has never showed any aggression with any males so this was a big surprise for me. I now keep a very close eye on all my breeding females. I also pull all my male out of the females cages when I go out of town now. Very expensive lesson I learned. [ Hide Replies ]
