start by reading everythign you can get your hands on ...

. articles/magazines

the normal rule of thumb is one square foot of enclosure for each linier foot of snake
. 4'x2' (lengthxwidth) is a good size for an adult male

i find BCI to be among some of the more clam/less agressive snakes around. there are always exceptions though. if you get it as a baby then chances are that with proper care and interaction you will end up with a calm handelable adult.
