In my opinion, you should not do it. There is way too much stress for the chameleon in most cases. Also, if you are not sure if you should take it or not, you probably shouldn't. While I ussually try to encourage people to get chameleons, they are ussually very enthusiastic about wanting one. If you are not sure, don't get it. Chameleons are a big responsibility, and have very different husbandry rules that most other herps.
