I'd have to agree. Only people who are really enthusiastic about chameleons should be keeping them, they are a 'specialty' reptile.



If you have no choice, the chameleon may do well in the dragon cage momentarily, but you should get it in another cage ASAP, as they are roughly similar in size and could harm each other in a fight. You could set up a free roaming cage if you like, maybe put a large houseplant in your bathroom and keep the door closed and just be careful going in in case the chameleon is on the floor.



Chameleon cages are easy to construct, all you need is some wood, some screen, and some staples and nails.
