My reptile rooom is a downstairs bedroom that in my model was set up as a guest quarters. One outside wall, one wall borders the garage and the other two border other rooms. When the house was built, the original owner opted for the additional insulation for the guest room. More for sound proofing but still is fully insulated. I don't heat the room but with all the cages on thermostats, the excess heat is retained in the room so in affect the room is heated. The heat sources on each bank of cages runs lower to maintain the temps for that bank. | ||
