Congrats on the better mood that she is showing. As far as an enclosure, you could pick up several manufactured enclosures in the 150-200 range that will suit many bci through out adulthood. If you want to stick with fabrication your best bet is to ask for pointers on the cage forum here. There are many members (including myself when I have the time) who will gladly give the time and energy to explain the how to on an enclosure.
