Posted by: cbreps at Fri Dec 23 07:52:37 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by cbreps ] some pure Hogs (one G) are speckled and to some people "ugly". beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i like the speckled one as well as the cleaner ones. pick up a copy of the cayos cochinos field guide (Amphibians & Reptiles of the Bay Islands and Cayos Cochinos, Honduras by McCranie,Wilson,&Kohler),right there on the cover is a highly speckled animal from the cayos cochinos. my pure Lemke line occasionally has a very clean baby in the litter, always a female. below is a pic of a very clean female next to her male sibling who has the more normal amount of speckling. thanks, john yocum [ Hide Replies ]
