RE: Missing Horns after shed

the horns will not grow back. They are very fragile and easily damaged. Shed is one of the problems that can cause loss of spines and horns. My two oldest MHDs, a male and a female, both are missing many of the spines in their crest. They just don't look as cool without them. That's why the moisture during shed is so important. Even with good humidity it can happen.



It sounds like she has really settled in well. You must be doing things right for her to be doing so well.
