Shed is one of the problems that can cause loss of spines and horns. My two oldest MHDs, a male and a female, both are missing many of the spines in their crest. They just don't look as cool without them. That's why the moisture during shed is so important. Even with good humidity it can happen. [ Hide Replies ]
