I agree. No nose rubbing problems.
I keep my room heated and it stays humid enough there so those are really problems but I will say I agree that there is quite a large temp range between the bottom and top cages. About 5 degrees in my setup. I could probably seal the bottom cage or two better with plexi and get a RHP panel to fix that but I dont mind the variation too much. My bottom cage stays at 80 and the top around 85 ... and everything inbetween in the others.
Having said that I love the freedom breeders. The whole pull out style is awesome. Soooo much easier to clean cages... and its more effecient because the cage can be deeper (closer to a square than a rectangle.. which is better for a curled up boa in a circle). All of my adult breeders will be in freedoms. ----- ____
