While I have mixed feelings about hybrids, and you have every right to not like them, your reasoning is a bit faulty. As another poster pointed out, evolution never perfects anything- organisms are constantly changing to meet changing pressures.
Do you own a dog or cat? Those are just as "man made" as a hybrid reptile. Do you eat corn? Wheat? Rice? Or pretty much ANY grain or fresh fruit or vegetable at the grocery store? Guess what, those are ALL "man made" hybrid varieties and/or very selectively bred for larger size, excess development etc. Do you eat meat? 99% of domestic livestock in the US is a result of hybridization of some sort. Maybe not beyond species, but still, they are very far removed from their "natural state."
While I am not a huge fan of most hybrids, they have a place, and as long as they are clearly maked as such, I see no harm in them really. But that's just my opinion...
