Just because she is too light to be breeding, doesn't mean that she won't, as you have unfortunately found out. It is your responsibility as their carer to make sure that no breeding should take place unless both geckos are in excellent health. I hope your female doesn't suffer from this experience.

Make sure she has plenty of calcium and some fatty food offered to help replenish her stores that have been used up in the laying process.
