Depending on the chamber size , heat type , humidity ,incubation styles and room temps the case fan can be used to circulate air so you dont get "hot spots in the top of a incubator , it also circulates the air & humidity if you have a water tray for humidity in the unit itself For the cost of the fan its not a big deal to not install it need it . you can get 120v units so that there is no need for a transformer to run the 12/24 models etc simple wiring skills can hook it up to a swithced lamp cord or dimmer setup.
