I just got two new colombians on Wed. The female is about 6.5 feet long and the male is about 5.5 feet long. They are beautiful. We blew 3 thermostats and a rehostat trying to get the wiring right before we fixed the problem so they are on a rehostat plugged into a thermostat on my other boa right now. And I have finally gotten the temps to where the will be comfortable until we get another thermostat to use. But the thing is the temps were a little high ontop of the hot spot for a while but are fine for a day now. My male boa has stayed coiled up in his water dish for most of the day now and has shown no sign of mites or about to shed so it is not the normal things that I can see. I was just wondering if this is something worth worrying about or if maybe he just likes it in the water. What do all of you think about this?
