First of all, I must agree with your 'chams rule' comment. As for special things... you really don't need to do much. Just be sure he has lost of humidity, and watch for stuck sheds (happens if it is too dry). My veiled would shed in a day when he was just a little tyke. But now he is 6 months old and takes about 2 or 3 days to get every little piece off, although most is off or falling off by the end of the first day. Good luck with your cham! BTW, the second picture is of him at 5 months old - I think that is how old you said your cham is.
