I recommend you to take all the food out of his tank. And only offer him food(tenebrio or crickets) once a day (at night). That way he "wont get used" to have food available all the time.
At last, stop feeding him waxworms! That won't help him 'cause they are addicted to it!
anyway that's just my opinion...
