My adult male has been in brumation for 3 months now. Right now he hasn't eaten a thing in about 6 weeks. One difference between a brumating Leo and a sick one is that during brumation they will lose very little weight & appear healthy other than not eating & sleeping more. And true, the Acidophiliz will not be of much help during this time. My male hasn't eaten much at all since the 1st of November but has only lost 3 grams of weight. He's just a big lazy tub of lard that lays around & sleeps LOL I have an adult female that is also brumating, but not nearly to the extent as my male. She still eats about every 3-4 days and has actually gained 10 grams of weight during this time. But she normally eats every day. | ||
