I know it is but I mainly did it so she could have the option to swim...rather than using the tub or a kitty litter pan. She likes swimming, A LOT, maybe even more than most Waters so I figured I'd take advantage of that and get her an enclosure that is large enough for her to swim in without having to scrunch up just to turn around. In the wild, she'd have acres upon acres so I don't see the harm in giving her a big enclosure as long as I can properly maintain temps and humidity isn't much of a problem.



They aren't so much vines as they are branches/logs. I know a guy who keeps his green tree monitors in enclosures like this but again, trees don't get as big as waters and his dimensions aren't as long. His breeder cages are 12 feet tall and his trees are happier than clams.



Do you build your own cages? I built one, my chameleon cage and it's...yikes. It serves it's purpose and all but you can tell it was made by someone without a lot of skill. I usually have other people build my cages simply because I KNOW they're better at it than me.
