The beetles are often ignored as a food by lizards, I don't think they contain much "Meat" either. I suggest letting them lay eggs.
If you feed them good healthy moisture foods, they will lay eggs and should produce healthy mealwormies. They are thursty when tehy become the beatle, and will lay more eggs if you provide a bit of carrot and etc.
I have a small tub that I havent fed, but is slowing growing over the last two months. I should feed the beetles more often though. They would produce more. ----- CANADIAN CHAMELEONS
