Here's an article that talks about too much UV affecting egg hatching in panther chameleons....

Also, in the wild, the chamleons have the choice of moving to the shade, away from stong light...they have less of a choice in a cage unless its well-planted.



I use reptisun 5.0's as a rule...not to say there aren't other options. I just don't change what works well.
