i used it for about a year on diffrent things,,i only use it for 5 feeding in a row and then i stop i treat them once a year it may say use every month but i don't and no i do not give it to my dog like they say you can nether and i don't give it to all my reptiles,i have used it on some sav monitors, that i keep outside and i think it worked i see more of a change when it is fed to smaller reptiles like geckos,frogs,dragons,skinks or w/c small lizards i think it does increase food intake but sometimes hard to tell you should just get some and try it, and test it out
