Has anybody done a biography on Lloyd Lemke?

I know that he brought a lot of species into the U.S., but it's really hard to find info on him. He's definitely contributed a lot to the Herp hobby in the U.S.. It would be nice to find a source of information about him. When and how did he pass away?

Was he a Herpetologist or was his work just a personal passion?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
