Because she was hiding, and then I went and picked up Onyx whos cage is 3' under Hope's. So I am sitting on my bed directly in front of Hope's tank (about1' away) and she comes out of her hide, through the lid and right up to me. I am glad she decided to make her break while I was watching so I know she is able. This proves that the cage locks are not escape proof because she has 2 on her lid.
