i have never sexed any of my snakes because i havent decided to breed any yet...i also know how you cant sex young chondros but im not sure as far as young Ij carpets...as far as when they are active...they are deff nocturnal ...mine lounges in its tree most of the day...except for rare days when it lounges on the ground...but once the night time comes it is usually all over the place...that is also when i take it out because its easier to take it out when its not coiled in the trees...mine demands respect lol...once i take it out though it is very calm...i would assume that your baby is nippy as well?
