Crittercare

I posted this in the housing sub-forum to, but there's not much action over there. I got a bag of the stuff called Crittercare at walmart not too long ago because I was housing a rat (snake food reject) for a couple of days. It says it is made of reclaimed cellulose fiber. Isn't that just a fancy way of saying recycled paper? It looks more like finely chopped cardboard, but it does have a very moss-like feel to it. Has anyone used this with their Ball Pythons? It does say that it's ok for reptiles. My female went blue and I want to make a humid hide for her.
