Some of the suggestions was to dip the pinkie in tuna juice, brain the live pinkie(the fluid in the brain is attractive smelling), force feed a frozen pinkie head, force feed an adult mouses tail (a tube going down a tube shaped snake), a frozen/thawed pinkie (maybe the moving pinkie scares the small snake), or making a pinkie bleed(frozen/thawed or alive - the blood will stimulate some snakes, in my experience).
