I would assume that with the core of Gaigeae that started the various lines being not many animals that the gene pool may be getting a little shallow. I found out tonight from Don Soderberg (South Mountain Reptiles) that my yearling male he produced came from David and Tracy Barkers F1 breeders. In other words their breeders are offspring to this big boy who is a WC. John Cherry told me that he just visited this snake at the San antonio Zoo and said he is even more impressive in person at well over 7' and bigger around than your wrist !



I gotta believe that Gaigeae are the biggest of the Triangulum sub species. If anything biggest on average since they seem to regularly hit the 6' mark. So Im thrilled my yearling male is a F2 and another SAZ male I have from John Cherry is probably a F2 or F3 also. Has anyone who breeds Gaigeae had any genetic defects pop up ?
