New Boa i think it has RI

I just got a boa last Friday and today while i was handling him I notice a him wheezing. I heard that this might be a sign of respiratory Infection and if it is what can i do to treat it, and also is it contagious? He also is skinny compared to my ball that is about the same length are boas suppose to be skinner?
