Leaving Crickets Overnight

I was just wondering if it is okay to leave crickets in the tank overnight. I have a female albino leopard gecko. She hasn't eaten in about a week, so I am going to try a different type of food tomorrow for her. I was just wondering if it is bad to leave a cricket in the tank overnight to see if she will eat it. Thanks for the help.
