I got my male BCI as a baby in August 04, and up until a couple months ago, he never refused a meal. About two months ago, I dropped the f/t rat into the cage, and he went over to it and just stared at it for a couple hours then went back in his hide. I had to go somewhere early the next morning, and when I left the rat was still laying in the cage. When I got back a couple hours later and went to take the rat out, I saw that he had eaten it. A week later, the same thing happened, except he didn't eat it until around noon, when it really started to smell. About 2 weeks later I gave him 2 rats and he ate both of them right away. And last night, 2 weeks later, I gave him a rat, and its now almost noon and he hasn't eaten it. The boa is 4' and the temps and stuff are good, and have been the same since I got him. Does anybody have any ideas why he's not eating?
