I've always used olive oil and a q-tip Use the q-tip to apply the oil to the specific area you want, this way it doesn't get all over the snake. The peanut butter idea sounds good though. You'ld probably want to use natural peanut butter because its greasier then the brand names that contain a lot of suger and other stuff
