Egg husbandry is quite different from snake husbandry. For some, it can be difficult to do well with and with others, it comes naturally. With most folks, it simply takes more experience to get it down pat. But some clutches will partially or completely fail whether it is of our doing or not. And other clutches will hatch well no matter how much you really screw everything up.
One of the most difficult things for me to do is to tell you what you may be doing wrong. I am not there to see your setup myself. And incubators can vary from one to the next. Too many variables. I will tell you we incubate our carpet and scrub python eggs much like they outline at the link below. Take a look. It works well for us with some minor modifications for our individual incubators.
