I don't know how you were planning on building the cover or what you were to use.



However if you build a hood similar to a finished wood hood for a fish tank, except all the way around. You could build an attractive element that would be able to house lights timers RHP etc. All while being able to install a lock in a door on top to provde axcess.



I assume you need the lock to prevent someone from getting the snake out while the store is open for buisness. The simple fact is the hood would weigh enough to keep it on the tank but but to heavy to easily move on a whim.
