depending how secure you wanted it in addition to the above you could attach a lip around the bottom portion of the hood. this would have to be done after the hood was constructed and put onto the tank. the wood lip would not allow the hood to be remoeved without removing the lip due to the plastic lip on the tank.



i dont like the idea of helping a pet store to get a burm since most pet store burms dont end up too good but at least there was some good motivation behind the question.
