Also regardless of the validity behind a breeders statements on the purity of their lineage, it boils down to this. Do they know 100% of the reliability of the importer, and every step between their arrival and your animals generation. Most likely not, and unfortunately a decent portion of the people in the hobby are more monetarily driven then by the enjoyment of the hobby so fudging the facts happens more often then should be.
