JCP won't eat again

i have a 7 foot male? jcp and he won't eat again. i'm pretty sure he is a he.

he was eating f/t jumbo rats up till 9-9-05. went into shedding then shed on 9-28-05. i tried to feed him on these dates:

9-30,10-08,10-19,11-3. on 12-11-05 he finally ate a f/t large rat. went into shedding again and shed on 12-29-05 then ate another large rat on 12-31-05. since then i've offered him a f/t large rat 2 times since the new year and he is not interested in it. i have one in there right now that i'm going to leave overnight if not its trash.

can someone tell me why he won't eat again? is it still breeding time? he seems fine weight wize i just wish he would eat agian. will i have to try p/k or even live now? i hate to go that route but if that is what its going to take then i'll have to.
