While I'm certainly not an expert on vet issues and medical care, I think you are right on in removing the snake from your others to prevent spread of infection/disease/parasites. It will also allow less stress to your sick snake and perhaps facilitate observation. When I think of respiratory infections, I think of ensuring the snake has a clean, dry enclosure with sufficient heat. Sounds like you are doing the right things until you can get a vet.
