A guy I used to know in VA found the mottled brown ones in the mountains (I think back then they reffered to them as brindle, although there has since been somthing else with that name in the hobby)some of these were almost solid chocolate brown, they were something to see! It's amazing to think of all the things that were found/seen in the wild back before the "morph awareness" happened. They used to just call them wierd or unique LOL they would be worth untold amounts now. There's a guy down in Middle GA that used to work with Ross Allen who has all these photo albums, you would have freaked to see some of the animals in those...and we just stumbled across his little store while out collecting one day. He had photos of TRUE 7.5' Eastern Diamondbacks and such. The whole mindset of people in the old days was different...I thought the Love's and R. Berry were going to write a book about the history of herpetoculture, that will be an incredible read if they ever finish it. Sorry I went off on a tangent, but the guys who I learned from in this hobby 20 years ago were a "diffrent breed" I don't think they get the respect they deserve sometimes.
