My male has been courting my two females since Christmas. I see him spurring them something fierce and have witnessed him doing this many times with both females. He even keeps me up at night with his continual raking of his spurs. What I have not witnessed him doing is locking up with either of the females. I haven’t fed my male since late November but he looks healthy and is still very active. I fed my females a small meal about mid January. Should I have noticed them locked up yet? I’ve been told to be patient but this is killing me. Do you necessarily notice them locked up? Anything I should be looking for exactly?

P.S. I haven’t noticed anything resembling what I have heard ovulation looks like.
