Moving with snakes

the2ndrunner Aug 20, 2006 06:01 PM

Im moving from IL to MA and was wondering what is a good way to bring my 3 boas and ratsnake. I plan on taking then in the car with me, because I'll be driving over. I've got rubbermaids for each of them. I'm going to blast the airconditioning.

That's pretty much what I did with mine, driving from Maryland to Kansas. I put them in plastic boxes with some shavings and had them in the back seat, checked on 'em every stop. I drove straight through, though, and never left them with the car turned off longer than it took to pump gas. If you're gonna stop for sit-down meals and things, it may be a bit dicier!
