breeding.. QUICK question boa breeders..

This is my second year in college.. home alwayssss.. I have been looking into breeding for about 5 years now.. I bought 10 hets 5.5 back in 03 and there looking like they could be ready.. any tips before I ATTEMPT lol? I think i have read EVERY boa breeding site on the earth haha but for some reason people have better tips than I hear in books... let me know.. thanks

Boa breeding is still a somewhat controversial subject. Some people cool them slightly others don't, some introduce for breeding and some keep them together all season or even all year. Most beginner breedings seem to have more to do with luck than skill.

I would make sure your females are ready. They are 3 but that is usually the minimum age and they may not be ready.

I put a male with a female in late Nov and keep them together till March. I seperate them to offer food but that is it. I live in Ohio so our house gets a little cooler at night naturally. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Someday I will buy Jeff's video and learn to do it the right way.
