My nicaraguan red tail got out, and I can't find her anywhere. She is about a foot and a half long. I have looked everywhere that I can. Does anyone have a way, to maybe get her to come out of hiding? Anyone that can help, please do. Thanks,

The easiest/quickest way might be to use a freshly killed or thawed rat. The scent should bring him out of hiding.
Escaped boas love dark warm places - try under the fridge, near hot water pipes, closets, under beds and sofas, etc. which I'm sure you've already checked - but check again.

Oops - "her" and of course be sure to use the appropriate size rat that she is used to eating.

Don't worry, she'll turn up. I've had plenty escape. You'll never find them looking, but one day she will be crawling across the floor! Best time to look is at night w/ a flashlight, hoping she is out exploring. Check along walls, they don't like to travel in open spaces.

They usually turn up, last time i lost a baby i found him curled up in a towel...

Anyway, if you get desperate you can put a line of flour across every enterance to every room... it'll help you find which area/room he is in. Found a cornsnake that way once.

I got lucky last night my boa got out (some one left the cage unlocked(ME)Good thing she crawled to the top of her cage and knocked over a tub and that she is 7 1/2 foot long she was easy to find.

The big ones do seem to have a harder time hiding.....wonder why?

you can take a rat (F/t or killed) and put it in a box with only one hole that is the same size as your snake. The snake will smell the rat and go into the box, swallow the rat and not be able to fit back through the same hole being fatter after eating. You have to cut exactly the right sized hole, one where the snake can just barely get in there and be too fat to get back out. : ) Just look in the morning for your snake.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions guys. I ended up finding her this morning at 4 am in the bathtub. She climbled up my wife little basket and got in there, but couldn't get out.

That's great! I am so glad you found your snake! Usually people find them again before trying things like the box I suggested, but you never know when you might have the need.
